About me
I am an illustrator and graphic designer based in Detroit, MI.
I am currently a Senior Designer at the experiential design firm Sparks, where I am part of the team that creates large-scale experiences, environments and events. Previously I was a senior 2D designer at Imagination, and before that the Senior Graphic Designer in the Exhibition Department of the American Museum of Natural History in New York. There I designed environmental and interactive graphics for museum exhibits on everything from microbes to dinosaurs to outer space. In all places, collaborating with the 3D designers, writers, programmers, animators, sculptors, curators and other talented team members has been a constantly educational and invigorating process.
Having backgrounds in both art and science has informed my work throughout my career, as the intersection between the two fields is endlessly beautiful and fascinating. I find using design to make information accessible to the widest possible audience to be a rewarding challenge.
